Acrylic on canvas, 30.25in X 40in, sold off of the frame. This piece started with me forcing a spare piece of canvas saved from college onto a frame that is too big. this was the first time i stretched a canvas myself since taking a painting class during the winter of my final year at Knox College. This piece of canvas was pre-gessoed and was far too folded up to stretch out the creases made over time - plus i didn’t have canvas pliers, so this was all my lil hands could do without ripping the canvas. I decided that even though all the staples are on the edges of the frame and there is a massive fold down the middle of the canvas, I had an opportunity to make something that pushed my boundaries a little bit. i couldn’t be more proud of what come about.
